Campos–March 2023
Hello Friend, More exciting things are happening in the ministry of TCM in Northern Brazil. We so much appreciate the partnership of many who have given towards many of our …
Joe and Michelle Campos have been missionaries to Brazil with Things to Come Mission since 2002. Their family is working in Northeast Brazil, in the city of Recife. Joe and Michelle have been re-planting two churches in the major suburb of Recife: Boa Viagem and Ibura. Joe is also the director of the Leader Bible Institute, which trains national leaders for the ministry. He is a key member of the national board of the Northeast churches and is responsible for all the literature projects. Michelle actively supports Joe in each of these ministries and is the Project ABBA director.
The Campos family works together in the Project ABBA ministry, leading the Christmas Celebrations with the children at the end of every year, training Sunday school and Children’s Club leaders, and running a Christian Education library for the churches. Project ABBA also runs an after-school program that includes sports, sewing and music classes.
Their training program (LBI) has partnered with a local Bible college to provide official certification for our graduate Bible students. The national board is currently planting a church in São Bento city, where they already purchased land and are planning to build soon. They have also started a Bible study group in the city of Abreu e Lima with the goal of starting a Grace Church there.
