Vernon & Darlene Anderson were TCM’s first missionaries. In 1958 the arrived in the Philippines and started working with a band of Filipinos in Mindanao who were seeking deeper Bible knowledge. Faith living moved the Andersons forward, preaching, teaching, helping to establish IGBI to train pastors, even to taking up flying and using three different airplanes to push forward with reaching out over the whole archipelago. In 1973 the Andersons pioneered a new TCM work in Indonesia. They later served in Tanzania, Kenya, Brazil, Cameroon and South Africa, always evangelizing and training pastors. In 2005 the Andersons moved back to USA to work at TCM headquarters. Vernon Anderson passed on in 2012 after a full missionary career and having written many tracts and booklets. Darlene continues to work in the TCM office.
