Southeast Asia

“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice,” (Philippians 4:4).

Greetings from Southeast Asia!

Our hearts are full, and we praise God for His many blessings.  Our words do not adequately express our appreciation to the Lord. The way He moves through His children to act on His behalf is beyond our comprehension.

Ephesians 3:20 says it best, “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us…”

Recently, during our trip to the States, we traveled to Indiana, Georgia, Texas, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Michigan.  It had been nearly ten years since we saw some of our ministry partners (including some of you!).

Also, we were able to attend the wedding of our oldest daughter as she married one of our son’s closest friends.  This blessed union brought people together from different backgrounds.

It was exciting to see folks from Syria, Mexico, California, Florida, Texas, Illinois, Georgia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan come together to witness this holy matrimony.  Only the Lord can do “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think…”  Praise His Holy Name!

It was amazing witnessing the Body of Christ unite together to support this young couple.  I (Michelle) could not have pulled it off without the aid of countless people including my family, my daughter-in-law’s family, my cousins, my sister/brother-in-law, my friend Monica, and several bridesmaids.  It truly was an act of God that we were able to finish decorating in time.  My faith certainly has been strengthened during this incredible experience.  The Lord always provides!

Not only were we blessed to have a successful wedding, but we also had some much-needed family time.  Since it’s not often that the eight of us are all in one place, we planned our family outing at a local park.  It was there that we could simply enjoy being together in God’s creation.

Once we returned to Southeast Asia, we immediately picked up where we left off.  We thank God for good ministry partners who kept things going during our absence.  The Lord truly shined throughout this entire time.

We hope this update encourages you in your faith.  We appreciate your taking the time to read our monthly newsletters.  Thank you for the prayers, gifts, and encouragement.

God bless you,

Pat & Michelle
