KGBI Kitchen & Dining Hall Project

TCM prioritizes training as an integral part of the TROAS strategy. Kenya Grace Bible Institute (KGBI) is the center of the programs to train ministers and missionaries who will spread the message of the grace of God in Kenya and beyond. KGBI is also the headquarters of TCM’s work in East Africa and hosts national meetings and conferences as well as international conferences and missionary training.  This kitchen and dining hall will enable KGBI to accommodate more students in our regular programs as well as conference guests. Currently, the kitchen is a closet-sized room in a temporary building. There is no dining hall so students/guests eat in a classroom or on the grass.

The initial $10,000 for this project was donated by a family member of Jesse Palmer Easterly in memory of her service in Kenya as the dorm mother in the first Bible school. That donation will enable the completion of Phase 1:  foundation, concrete slab, plumbing, and kitchen walls and roof. $6100 is needed to complete Phase 2: columns, electrical work, dining hall roof, and all finishing work. We are projecting that the development will commence in October and be completed by January 2023.
