Southeast Asia

Hello! Today marks a special date- the 3rd anniversary of TCM’s church plant in Southeast Asia.  We know that many of you have stood by us long before we even moved to this area five years ago.  We’re reminded of God’s love and patience as we ponder all that He’s accomplished in an area that’s surrounded by temples and mosques.  It’s because of your prayers!  As we’ve said before, we cannot do this type of work alone.  Thank you for your wonderful support.

Here’s our update-International Director Ben Anderson and Development Director Tim Board were here for our “Mission Emphasis Sunday.”  (See pics below).  It was an honor to have them participate in our service.  The Lord moved in people’s hearts to have an open mind about missions.  Praise God!
Our family is serving the Lord on the foreign field because of the incredible testimonies of those who sacrificially gave their lives in 1956 in Ecuador.  As Jim Elliot wrote, “He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.”  He and Elisabeth Elliot have powerful testimonies which are certain to inspire you.  We admire strong people who do difficult things for the Lord.

Prayer Requests:This Sunday is our “Church Without Walls” at three different locations.  Our congregation will get out and do challenging work at an orphanage, a nursing home, and at a blind school.  There will be scrubbing, painting, pressure washing, weeding, and organizing. Prayers are much appreciated! As always, we ask for prayer for those around us to have tender hearts for the Lord.  We hope to be a blessing to everyone we meet for His glory!
Thank you and God bless you!
