Southeast Asia

Dear Ones,

We hope this newsletter finds you well.  We are hearing reports that many of you are self-isolating yourselves as we are in Southeast Asia.  What began as recommended self-isolation here has escalated to something like a lock-down.

We praise God that we can always rely on Him, and that He wants us to call upon Him during times of anxiety as well.  Let us praise Him!

“Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him     with psalms.  For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods.  In His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the hills are His also.  The sea is His, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land” (Psalm 95:2-5 NKJV).

 Prayer Requests:

Pray that we will be able to resume life as usual within the next few weeks.  Like many of you, we had to close our church doors.  This means that there are no offerings to cover the rent, utilities, and the TCM missionary teams that we sponsor.

Please pray that Pat and I will be able to remain strong during these unprecedented times for our family members in the States, our church family, and especially for those who are lost.

Pray for the Sanders family who had to postpone coming here due to the corona-virus pandemic.

Praises:

We praise the Lord that last Sunday we were able to sign a contract to rent a house for the Sanders.  Whenever they arrive, they will have a home that will serve as the second meeting venue.

We praise the Lord that we are all healthy and we have plenty of food.

We praise the Lord for all of you!  As we’ve said for the last six years, we can’t do this type of work alone.  May God bless you for your faithfulness!  Thank you!!

I will close with this verse to encourage you to draw close to Him.  “…as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious” (1 Peter 2:2-3).

 In His precious love,

Pat, Michelle, and family
