Dear Friends,

Greetings in the grace of our Lord! Our family wishes to thank you for your ongoing support of our TCM ministry. After four months of being limited in our ministry due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are now finally able to resume most of our ministry tasks. This past Sunday, for the first time since March 15th, our ministry center was able to meet in person.

Curiously, children under the age of 12 years old are still prohibited from attending, and that meant that our numbers were down significantly since most young families did not attend. Still, we had 60 people come out to worship our great God and the fellowship was joyous after such a long time away from each other. I (Pat) was especially nervous since I had grown accustomed to preaching online! But despite a few bumps in the road, the service was a success, praise God.

During the restrictive period of the last four months, our ministry continued with online Bible studies. The fruit of that ministry was evident yesterday.  One lady, who was being ministered to during the past several months by a church member, accepted Christ following our service. Let’s praise God!

Several others remarked to us about their spiritual growth during these hard times, and that the online ministries were a fantastic help to them. It was encouraging to hear! Being sidelined was hard for us, but God got the victory anyway!

We have several prayer requests:

We are losing one of our elders named Dennis who is moving back to Europe to settle into retirement. He has been a faithful servant to the church and was a founding member. Please pray for him and for his wife as they transition, and that his efforts in the church can be picked up by others. Already two teenage boys have assumed some of his media/website responsibilities and they are doing excellent!

Please pray for our second ministry center start-up. As you may recall, it is in a very densely populated, blue-collar district on the southeastern side of the island. It currently has no Bible teaching centers. This ministry was supposed to be lead by our team-mates, but the pandemic situation resulted in closed borders and they are not able to come yet (with no re-opening of borders in sight). We recently re-started this ministry and there are a few challenges.

The rent was negotiated to a very low amount during the pandemic, but the landlord is wanting to raise it back to full price. We will pay a low rent until August 31st at which time another negotiation will be necessary. Please pray that the borders open soon and that our team-mates can arrive. And pray also that we can retain the ministry center (which will double as their home) until they arrive.

We have many opportunities to share Christ these days. It is very common for our members to invite someone to our online classes, usually unbelievers. Please pray for open hearts and minds.  Also, remember our adult children and our families who are living in the States.  We praise God that they have remained healthy.

Thank you for all you do to encourage us and for your support of these ministries!  May God be glorified!

“While I live I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being” (Psalm 146:2 NKJV).

In His Service,

Pat and Michelle Kilgo
