Southeast Asia

Hello from Southeast Asia,

We hope this update finds you and your family doing well.  As we look over your names, we’re reminded of the importance of the members of the Body of Christ.  We praise the Lord for your dedication to Him and for the sacrifices that you make on His behalf.

Updates– Our Bible school has begun Year 1 and Year 3 classes.  This means that in 2020 (during lockdown), we began our first year of online Bible school for our adult learners.  Currently, we have a combined total of fifteen students (eight in Year 3/seven in Year 1), praise God.

We are very thankful to God for allowing us the privilege and honor of teaching the Word rightly divided to these students.  We humbly ask for your prayers as it’s a big commitment for all involved. Also, please pray that our Year 3 class will produce Bible teachers/pastors.

As February approaches, plans are underway to begin a teen discipleship class before our weekly church services.  The goal is to teach our youth about man’s way versus God’s way.  As you may remember from your own youth, the teenage years can be turbulent at times.  Thus, it is our goal to equip them with the Truth from God’s Word. Please pray that our lessons will help prepare them to make right choices in life.

On a personal note, you may have heard that our oldest daughter is engaged to be married in July!  We are very excited about their upcoming marriage for so many reasons.  Please join us in prayer over their future plans as they seek the Lord’s will in their lives.

As always, we truly appreciate your prayers, gifts, and words of encouragement.  May the Lord bless you abundantly.
